Casey Pittock
CEO

Casey is a recognized value creator in connected healthcare. He most recently served as CEO of Udex Software, a cloud platform for the home health industry. Previously, he was President and CEO of Tunstall Americas, the US division of Tunstall Healthcare Group, the world’s largest medical alarm provider. He served as CEO at two healthtech start-ups and led sales at BAM Labs, the technology powering smart beds. Casey was the founder and CEO of TelCARE Systems which was acquired by Lifeline, and subsequently by Philips.

Local to Silicon Valley, he has held multiple board seats and advised numerous connected health companies. Casey has been a frequent speaker at connected healthcare conferences, including Partners Healthcare Center for Connected Health, Parks Associates Connected Health, American Society on Aging, Silicon Valley Boomer Summits, and AgeTech West. Casey holds a B.A. degree in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University where he was a member of the Men’s Varsity Golf Team.

 

Ben Atkin

Ben Atkin is a serial entrepreneur, innovator and investor. He has spent over 25 years in product development, with a focus on medical, dental and veterinary devices. As the Vice President of Sales at Engler Engineering he helped increase a $400,000 company to over $1,000,000 in just 2 years. Other successes of Ben’s include holding 5+ patents, as well as funding, growing and selling several medical and veterinary device companies.

Since the time of his diagnoses as a type 2 diabetic, Ben has spent most of his time researching new solutions for situations he and others with diabetes face daily. He is determined to create a more modern and convenient way to record glucose data and related information while engaging others in helping him master the disease.

 

Brahim Zabeli

Brahim has held a number of leadership roles in the commercial areas of sales, marketing, and business development. He has 20 years of experience in diabetes medical devices gained through working for worldwide leaders Johnson & Johnson and Becton Dickinson. In that time Brahim has been responsible for successfully bringing dozens of new products to market. He has terrific knowledge of the nuances of the diabetes marketplace including customers, channels, reimbursement, and managed care.

He holds a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from the Claremont Graduate University.

 

Dick Kane

Dick Kane

A senior executive with extensive experience in multiple business sectors: high-tech, manufacturing, food & beverage, higher education, financial services, and packaged goods.

Dick has led a high-tech start-up in which he developed groundbreaking analytic software capable of crowd-sourcing geo-positioning data and deploying this for real time decision making in a variety of business sectors. He also was the interim CEO for Tampa Bay Co-Pack providing a wide range of contract beverage manufacturing services, (from blending to distribution).

Dick began his career with Procter & Gamble and has enjoyed success in many other Fortune 100 companies and entrepreneurial ventures.

Jeff is a trusted advisor for healthcare and life sciences companies. He is a founding partner of the Life Sciences Law Group where he represents pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. He also regularly provides advice on healthcare compliance, regulatory and general corporate matters.

Jeff holds a law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University.

 

Bill Lewis

Dr. Bill Lewis is currently a Strategic Consultant for Telemedicine for Humana, a member of the CHQI Telemedicine Standards and Medical Advisory Board and Chair of the Telemedicine Accreditation Committee. He served for 2 years as the CMO of GlobalMed and is on their Advisory Board. He is a Consultant for Fortune 500 companies and Care Delivery Organizations providing implementation and product development support in Telemedicine.

Dr. Lewis served as the Sr. V.P. of Medical Operations for Concentra Health Services and Select Medical for 20 years supervising over 500 providers, 140 clinics and over 200 Worksite & Wellness clinics in this role. He obtained his Boards in Emergency Medicine at the University of Oklahoma and his Medical degree at Ohio State University.

Corissa sales and marketing leadership includes product and marketing management at three global medical device organizations.

Corissa has commercialized several products and grown market share by developing relationships with clinicians, cross-functional team members and industry experts to drive stronger value propositions, brand awareness and adoption of the products she supports.

Corissa is especially passionate about her role at Smart Meter because she has lived with Type 1 Diabetes most of her life. This firsthand knowledge drives her to make a difference for individuals living with diabetes and their care teams.

Corissa holds a BA in Business Leadership and MBA from Bethel University in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

 

Mike Vidmar

Mike Vidmar

Mike has been an executive for several successful medical device start-ups and Fortune 500 companies including Medtronic, BD and Apria Healthcare.

He has launched, developed positioning, and commercialized innovative products, programs, and services across multiple distribution channels, prominent healthcare systems, national chain drug accounts, influential payers, and government healthcare systems. The products and services he has advanced include diabetes supplies, medical devices, consumer products, connected health, digital health, population health, and remote patient monitoring (RPM).

Mike enjoys the opportunity to culminate all of his experience at Smart Meter in growing a successful commercial strategy, sales channels and partner relationships.

 

Erez Pick

Erez Pick
VP of Operations

Erez brings with him over 30 years of leadership, management and operational experience in the medical devices and healthcare industries. He has extensive experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, product development and global manufacturing operations and also holds several patents on orthopedic devices.

Prior to joining Smart Meter, Erez served in senior leadership positions in various medical device companies.

Erez holds a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College, City University of New York and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
