Smart Meter Expands Tampa Headquarters to Meet Soaring Demand: New State-of-the-Art Facility Boosts Efficiency and Capacity

Smart Meter, a leading technology and infrastructure provider for the remote patient monitoring (RPM) industry, is thrilled to announce the significant expansion of its headquarters and logistics center in Tampa, Florida, driven by surging product demand and unprecedented sales growth. The new state-of-the-art facility is located at 6005 Benjamin Road, Suite A.

Meeting Demand with Innovation and Scale

The expansion follows a remarkable 300% sales increase since 2021, during which Smart Meter quadrupled its commercial customer base and now supports over 270,000 patients daily. In 2024 alone, the company added 266 new healthcare clients to its existing roster of 669 commercial partners.

This rapid growth led to the company moving into its third office location in the last three years. The new office and logistics center features 25,000 square feet of space, with 16,000 square feet being used for a warehouse and operations area, while 9,000 square feet is dedicated to offices, conference rooms and a large break room.

Driving Innovation for Future Growth

This larger space allows Smart Meter to consolidate two smaller offices into this new single facility and provides enough space for up to 60 employees. This new facility will also enable Smart Meter to streamline its logistics, improve operational efficiency, and better serve its growing customer base.

In 2024, on-time shipments of more than one million items set a record with over 99% of shipments processed the same day the order was received. The new operations center provides Smart Meter with the ability to triple its shipping capacity in the short term and quadruple it in the long term.
