The Center for Telehealth and eHealth Law (CTeL), in partnership with Charm Economics, conducted an independent economic analysis examining the potential impact of CMS's proposed RPM staffing requirement on Medicare.
The study looks at what could happen to Medicare spending and patient access if practices that currently rely on contracted clinical staff reduce or discontinue their RPM programs as a result of the proposed change.
The research was supported by Smart Meter and other organizations across the RPM industry to help bring additional evidence and economic analysis into the conversation around the future of remote patient monitoring.
