The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing revenues from existing and new customers. This role is a blend of a traditional inside sales representative with an account manager. The goal of the Inside Sales Representative is expanding the adoption of Smart Meter solutions to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and to exceed customer expectations.
Source new sales opportunities through self-generated outbound cold calls and Smart Meter generated inbound lead follow-up.
Build rapport with designated Smart Meter accounts.
Understand the Smart Meter solution offerings to identify the right partnership opportunities for each current and prospective customer.
Improve the Smart Meter Market Share through each customer.
Increase revenue across assigned customers.
Secure new contracts and grow revenue with new customers.
Align customer goals to ensure customers are knowledgeable about Smart Meter Solution and Services.
Provide initial and ongoing solution support, training (online), and customer inquiry follow-up.
Provide customer with problem solving, key account support, and account retention oversight.
Understand and communicate sales challenges, account obstacles, and business opportunities to Executive team.
Attend industry conferences and trade shows as requested.
Skills and Qualifications
Must have two (2) years healthcare sales experience, preference given to Healthcare IT/ data
Two – four (2 – 4) years of successful inside sales experience preferred
Preferred experience selling a medical device, software, IT, service or pharmaceutical, manufacturer or distributor.
Strong phone presence with excellent verbal and written communications skills
Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action.
Experience working with a CRM like Pipeline, NetSuite, SalesForce, etc.
Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools such as Teams, Zoom, etc.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
